Purpose

This document is intended to provide cause and corrective action information about Siebel Error Message SBL-BPR-00511: The imported object is not of type '%1'.

This document is informational and intended for any user.


SBL-BPR-00511: The imported object is not of type '%1'.

Explanation

This error is returned when users try to do a client side import using a file that does not have a task definition in it.


Corrective Action

Please do a client side import of a valid task definition.

Yes, Profile Attributes! As the ever attentive, up-to-date Siebel CRM expert that you are when you read this, you know that in Siebel Open UI (since version 15), it is no longer allowed/supported to  set  Profile Attributes from browser-side script. But  getting  them is not a problem, since the  GetProfileAttr  function works perfectly fine.
