SBL-EAI-08025: Namespace value '%1' in SOAPAction does not match Namespace value '%2' in xml tag '%3'.

Symptoms
The customer created an inbound web service in a 7.8 environment (Binding: SOAP_DOC_LITERAL) and created an outbound web service in a 7.5 environment. When the web service was called from the 7.5 environment the 7.5 task failed with the following error:

“Error: SiebelError: XML Hierarchy Converter error - empty input message, expecting an XML document in of input arguments(SBL-UNU-00246)Error near no filename:799 [InvokeMethod()]. from no filename:799 [BusComp_DeleteRecord()]
33043 XML Hierarchy Converter error - empty input message, expecting an XML document in of input arguments(SBL-UNU-00246)"

The SOAP document returned by the 7.8 environment included the following error:

"Namespace value 'http://poem.michelin.com' in SOAPAction does not match Namespace value 'http://www.siebel.com/xml/POEInaVehFitIO' in xml tag
'POEInaVehFitBS_InaVehFit_Input'.(SBL-EAI-08025)"

CauseIn the HTTP message sent from 7.5 the SOAPAction was set to "document/http://poem.michelin.com:InaVehFit". InaVehFit was the name of the operation being called.

The SOAP document sent from 7.5 included the following:

SolutionWhen the customer consumed the WSDL in Tools in the 7.5 environment, the following user properties were specified on the input IO that was created:

The call from 7.5 completed correctly after the customer changed the value assigned to XMLTagNamespace to “http://siebel.com/xml/POEInaVehFitIO”, where POEInaVehFitIO is the name of the integration object in 7.8.

The best thing while working on siebel is you are never short of options. Recently we had requirement of updating a Service request from contact. Finally we did that using "EAI Siebel Adapter" business service. However during that time i came across another business service "FINS Data Transfer Utilities" popularly known as DTU business service. As i was not having prior knowledge of it going by the rule of not learning swimming lessons while drowning i decided not to go for it. Lately i have tried to explore this service and trust me it can do wonders. Here is a sample example update of Service Request from contact. Profile Attributes and Open UI

Yes, Profile Attributes! As the ever attentive, up-to-date Siebel CRM expert that you are when you read this, you know that in Siebel Open UI (since version 15), it is no longer allowed/supported to  set  Profile Attributes from browser-side script. But  getting  them is not a problem, since the  GetProfileAttr  function works perfectly fine.
